Okay, so I got back into playing Raiden IV Overkill, over the last few weekends. This is a newer version of a game from 1990. Turns out I'm quite good.

Someone developed Waterworld Arcade game from the Simpsons into a real game.

I've been really into retro games lately, I think it's something very nostalgic and cool.
At some point, I started watching a review on youtube for retro games and I wanted to try to play.
I got my eye on the Blue PSP 3000 - Vibrant Blue PSP 3000 - Complete at the Retro Video Game Store.
It seemed like a great model to start with.
It took me a while to get the hang of it but now I'm really enjoying the games and I don't know why I didn't do it before.
It's really a very handy thing, it's a very compact console to take with you, I think it's a great way to take it with you.

Have you downloaded a MAME64 emulator? It allows you to play any arcade game up to about 1993 and it's free, as are the games. You can also get Sega Model 2 and 3 emulators, Sega NAOMI/NAOMI 2 as well?

Thought I'd give this a go...

I had the first one, and it was my first proper introduction to the Snaefell mountain circuit on a corner by corner basis.

I'd forgotten how much bikes don't actually turn, and I've also forgotten most of the circuit. That's unfortunate, because in order to compensate for how much the bikes don't turn, you need to be positioned to turn in well before the corner is visible.

Last time around I logged some of my 1 lap time trial times to see how long it actually took me to learn the circuit, I never did really, but this was the evolution of my PB times...

* S1000RR for nearly all times, the spike/drop in the middle was switching to a Triumph for a bit

18m 10s is a 200km/h lap... that's my next goal, I'm posting here as a marker so I can look back at some point in the far future, and see how long it took me to manage

Damn, I wish I had the $$$$$ to afford a laptop strong enough to run BeamNG Drive. The game looks awesome.

It is amazing to see the upgrades in the last couple of decades in video games. The GTA VI trailer looks amazing and it seems the game would be worth of waiting all these years.

Rockstar trailers are also shot in-game. Therefore the trailer is a indication of what the graphics will be like on current gen console, give or take a few minor dips in visual fidelity.
