Maybe it's a repost but it's worth it.
I saw this video in an exhibition of cars when the 325i came out, at the fifth time of seeing it repeated hypnotized, I began to think that people would think I was crazy, how wonderful even today to see the beating that they give to the 325ix, that moment of the presentation of the video was the signal and starting point towards what the company is today

the first crash tests that I remember are from the e21 and e30, all that work, when this audiovisual information did not come anywhere and from any brand is part of the success achieved, somehow I came and saw it, BMW not only was, but it gave the impression of being pioneers in many things

I really can't help but love the eighties-ness of it!

On the subject of the 325iX being hooned in the video, I have a 325iX sales brochure from 1988, it makes some bold claims!

Four wheel drive is superior to 'conventional' wheel drive... such a partially sacrilegious statement!

Today it sounds funny but then they had to "socialize" the AWD at birth, there was permission to be delusional in marketing, given the ignorance of its advantages by customers and I almost assure you that those who wrote this at that time did not have very clear what they were talking about

On the other hand, an e30 325 super light and powerful with AWD could surely with everything you put forward (as seen in the video)

I found this video of some guys that did some nice detailing work on an E30 325 is. It looks so superb after they finished.

I love the nostalgia of these older 80's and 90's BMW's.

Here is the launch of 324d, 325i, 325iX, 325i Cabrio and M3 in August 1985 AMuS
