I am less tribal that most when it comes to premium cars but I do prefer the german brands I think. I know its pretty common in the UK now but I just like the big three. I think they just look and feel that much better and I have tried to look at others.
Also, since I pay by PCP I tend to get much better monthly payments on these than premium volvos, jags and lexus.
Anyway, I love a bargin and was quite amazed at the kind of discounts you can get from drivethedeal, carwow, autoebid etc.
The very best I have seen are from drive the deal right now which are offering over 10k discounts on high spec C class and 8k from E class. I think the E class deal is especially nice as so new. I didnt see discounts quite as good for BMW but didnt try at first as they didnt have a new model which took my fancy. Autoebid did just offer my 7k discount on the new 5 series though.
However, the car I will probably go for is an A4 avant which I got reduced from 45k to 36500. I like my toys and this is also a ver new car which I spec'd with 3lD V6 and lots of gizmos.
So, My question is are these discounts about typical with merc offering best, then audi then BMW? When you spec up a PCP or even a lease it seems that all the germans looks very good which is clearly one of the reasons they do so well in the UK. Often people say how over priced they are but they just dont loook at the depriciation/PCP/discounts that make them so attractive.
