Two very rare classic Citroëns

you can't imagine what i'm gonna tell you now. One of those cars is here in Patras. One of those that were bought by the french government is here, being restored and in 15 days time it will be ready for action, and guess what, i will be there, and see the car.

I spoke to my friend yesterday to tell him about these two cars, but just before i told him this, he said he had a surprise. And guess what the surprise is!

That's really good for you Giannis ...please take some photos ...they are rare ...and destined to become highly desirably collectors cars .. old Citroëns are already becoming a rarity -- so many of them just rusted away like old Italian cars -- the Fiat 500 is also now a highly sort after collectors car ...who would ever have thought that a couple of decades ago.

Fiat are going to revive the 500 soon though ...check out this interesting website.

www.fiat500.com ...click on the "concept Lab" and you can build your own 500.

I don't know right now. I'll ask my friend and tell you the next time i log in. I'll meet him in 30 minutes. BTW I have some interesting facts about those two cars that i will post later.

sorry for the late response, (i always forgot to ask him), but he doesn't know. The car was in critical condition when it was brought here (off course not driven) so it was immidiately taken to a mechanic that would fully restore it. My friend has seen the car for only ten minutes. There are two facts though. As i said, the car will be ready in about 10 days, and be almost fully restored, but my friend leaves on Friday. He will be on vacation until late August. So sad news. Without him i can do nothing. I don't know the exact location of the mechanic and i have not the authority to take pics or drive the car. (at least for now, i hope.)
