Well as many of you may know I just got back from France two days ago. It was an amazing trip, I went over with team USA for an inline speed skating competition on three banked tracks in southern France. First we flew into Paris and spent one day walking around and then the next on a bus tour of Paris. We went to Nortre Dam, the Lourve, Eifle Tower and other historical buildings around paris that i dont dare try and spell. The city was very beautiful this time of the year and I had a blast with 30 US kids hanging out in Paris. We then went on a sleeper train down to toulouse (sp) but unfortuantly we only drove through the city so I did not have a chance to look around or take any photos. Later that day we had practice at the first track and then went to bed for a long day of racing the following day. That first day of racing i did very poorly so i was mad at myself. Next day we took a bus down 40 miles to the next track and i raced much smarter and more like myself. The third day of racing was at another track which was even faster and more exciting. So overall I was very happy with the racing that i did but i am not sure about my overall placement yet. Well on to the pictures, I will post some now and some later since i do not have that much time right now.
In paris I was walking along the street close to Notre dam when across the street i spotted a Ferrari 599!!!! The pictures I took were ok but it was dificult with four lanes of traffic between you and the car.

Sounds like you liked Paris!

I haven't been for a few years now, but it's a lovely city, and there are some real nice cars around if you go to the right parts.

So where did you come overall in the Inline speed skating competition?

I didn't have enough time to see Louvre... I had only 5 hours, before I needed to take my flight to the UK. Paris is a very trim and clean place, their people obviously take a lot of pride in their country... I find that very respectable.

BTW, the 599 is just drop-dead sexy. Its lines are so interesting I take a while to figure what goes where.

Thanks for sharing!

well overall in my age group there was 96 entries and i believe i got somewhere in the high 20's.
Haha James when i went to the louvre I also had limited time due to the number of places we had to visit in one day so i had a little over an hour there and believe me that place is huge so we were actually running through it to make sure we got to see the mona Lisa and the other famous sites.

Guys more photos are comming but at the moment life is hectic, i havent been home for more than 2 hrs at once since i came home, but maybe later tonite I will have a chance

Yes, exactly what I did! The must-see Mona Lisa... :D

I like your Eiffel Tower picture a lot.

I must say though that no matter how famous the Mona Lisa is, it just didnt impress me as much as some of the other paintings and things that I glanced at in there.
Thanks that picture was taken from inside the bus while we were touring the city, I did get to get off there though and climb it

Yeah, its intriguing how such a simple picture became so famous. What I did is quite dumb, I took a picture of a picture (the Mona Lisa)! :D
