Let me have my moment please... If you allow.
I've been an Audi fan since 1998... When my friends dad gave me a ride home from our practice, in their brand new Audi A4 1.8. Since that day, I have loved that mark. And year after year, they have gone forward. You have no idea how amazing it feels, for a true Audi fan, to watch when an Audi is right up there fighting with the best supercars in the world. That is a true amazing feeling, and it's sensational what the R8 has become, and how it has put the mark Audi on the map. Sure, thay make some amazing cars in the whole line-up, but an R8 is an R8.

I watched the whole video with pride.

Thanks for my moment.

- not up there, beating them handsomely, performance for cost. Even Clarkson's cringeworthy salesman pitch(paid by Ron?) for the slow as molasses selling McLaren - the one that looks like an 80s kit car, with an interior supplied by Amstrad - couldn't hide the fact the R8 is the most engineered and developed car of the three by far, at 40% less price.

The new R8 will solve its only real problem - too heavy. Then watch out 458.

Ferrari for me.

Having said that Top Gear has become seriously boring, may be too much of Chris Harris influence

Not in a million years is an R8 a substitute for a Ferrari or even McLaren.

It's an amazing feat for Audi, a mainstream manufacturer, to be able to be spoken of in the same breath as Ferrari and McLaren, but it's there because it's superb value, relatively.

LMFAO!!!!!

One of the fastest RWD NA V8 cars out there... most powerful NA V8.
One of the most thrilling cars ever to drive! Phenomenal balance!
The only real competitor to Ferrari is Lamborghini! Keep it NA bitc*es!

PS: @klier See... they call those supercars :p

The Audi is amazing value for the Money.. and its near perfect for what it is.

But the 2 others are a number to large.

I hate the Mclaren its so cold..lacks a soul.

For me the Ferrari is THE ONE.

So the order for me:
1. Ferrari
2.Audi
3.Mclaren

Been Stateside so haven't seen it but despite being a big fan of the R8 I can't honestly believe it to be superior to either of these two rivals, yeah it's the most accomplished for day to day living and being German should give it the advantage in the reliability stakes but could it really be better than two of the best cars to hit the streets in recent years?
