This is a freind of mines site, check it out...

Seems a weird idea!

Why does he want to have lists of M cars from other countries?

Re: This is a friend of mines site, check it out...

Ok for bmw owners... other than registering your car, is the site good for anything else like info, mechanical help from other owners or other owners insight on issues and such?

I browsed the site, but only saw numbers next to the car name showing how many people have that specific car.

You guys should try reading the introduction:

"WELCOME TO THE BMW M REGISTRY, an information resource for enthusiasts of BMW's most exciting road cars. Here you'll find a comprehensive series of FAQs about each and every M Series BMW, from the original 3.0CSL to the latest E46 M3. Already have an M car of your own? Please share it with the rest of us by joining the Registry. And if you've got some M information to pass along, or simply want to put in your two cents, don't be afraid to drop us a line..."

and there are a TON of pics, if you look at the last colum underneath "images" there will be a pic of a car there that tells you whether or not there are actually any pictures. You have to try navigating a site to learn anything about it :usa7uh:

Ok, now that you've made your point clear. I'm not sure if most registries have that feature, that's more like a forum You have to consider though, especially w/ the example that you used, that some of these cars are quite old, so repair information might be scarce and best obtained through a specialized BMW mechanic. That's what I think at least. The FAQ section should answer most of any question you have, and questions that you don't find, and/or answers, you can send through an email, that is provided at the bottom of the intro on the hompage.

I just figured since the owners and cars and emails and all info is already there, it would be nice if there was a some sort of a link to communicate and post Q&A that details to each model. It would surely be helpful to owners of old cars, that end up being do-it-yourselfer's.
