I doubt it. Yes, the LM has much better power to weight ratio than the Veyron. Combined with a instantaneous response of a NA engine and lighter weight, it will probably beat a Veyron for short bursts of acceleration, but on a longer race like the TG one, there is no getting around the 320HP deficit. It is easy to forget that the HP diffrence is bigger than between an M3 and a civic. But yea anything short of the Veyron, I think stands little chance against the LM.

No daught about that.

They should have had the Murcielago SV vs SLR 722 vs. McLaren F1 vs. Veyron so we can see how big the difference is between these two categories. A missshift or a traction issue and I'm sure the SLR 722 or SV could give the F1 some trouble.

I can't help but think TG gave the Veyron a poor start to keep things interesting.
 
I really thought the F1 was going to eat the Veyron for lunch... but man, what top end power for the Bugatti.
