The ugliest production car currently available in the U.S.

Chrysler Neon is one of them

I don't think we have to worry about Isuzu must longer in the U.S. They've pulled out of the Detroit and Chicago autoshows, a sure sign they've given up and are ready to exit.

CHRIST! that Isuzu is unbelievable - what kind of lowly, depraved, self-loathing creature could it possibly be intended for - who would even contemplate owning one? :t-hands:

...I have to be careful, I have already upset enough people this week in the G class threads.

I apologize in advance for any offense my opinions might have caused :D

You forgot the Aztek

No i didn't, that car holds the award of the ugliest on the planet, in fact it shares that title with Fiat Multipla. This one i haven't seen so far and the title of the thread is the quote of a picture source.

:t-cheers:

I actually think there's plenty to like about the new Lincoln Zephyr. It looks really odd at first blush, but it's a break from the norm and might do Lincoln well. The rear styling seems off-kilter though.

That Isuzu definitely takes the cake.

The Aztek for sure... the Isuzu is still bearable in person, the Aztek is really not nice.

The aztek really wins the title. Cam someone please explain too me how the hell someone can design a car looking like that, I want to throw a boot at ther person who gave the design of this car green light. :eusa_doh: :t-wild: :bash:

Perhaps you can send Bangle an email. He is an expert in ugly designs. :D j/k

I would have picked the Aztek also, but when you say currently available do you mean new cars for sale? The Aztek is out of production as far as I know.

Now that Yannis brought up Bangle, let's see if we can switch gears - I pose this question: Now that BMW has achieved the status of 'World's #1 Luxury Brand' has Chris Bangle and his designs been vindicated?

For me, the answer is an easy yes. What do you guys think?

Agreed! Enough with Bangle bitching and stuff...

BTW does anyone have any sales figures for the Aztek?

From May, 2000. Salegoals

General Motors Corp. expects a loyal following, but not necessarily mass appeal for its new Pontiac Aztek, a crossover "sports activity vehicle" that debuts this summer. Sales predictions are 50,000 to 70,000 units a year, says Mark Reuss, vehicle line executive. That's not a huge amount by GM standards, but enough to make a bold statement that Pontiac is in the crossover game. The Aztek, which sits on a modified version of the Montana minivan platform, also shares that vehicle's 3.4L V-6. Front-wheel-drive Azteks hit the market in June. The vehicle will base at $21,195, with the GT version starting at $24,995. An all-wheel-drive rendition is due out in January.

2003, May
Funny :)

"This is taking freedom of expression too far!! Don't forget to laugh at anyone driving an Aztek!"

The Aztek for sure. The Isuzu Rodeo is ugly, but it ain't as ugly as the Aztek. Also, the GMC Envoy is pretty hideous if you ask me.
