S-Class The idiot and his CL 65 AMG...

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, formerly known as Sonderklasse, is a series of full-sized top-of-the-line luxury sedans and coupés produced by Mercedes-Benz. Officially introduced in 1972 with the W116, it has remained in use ever since.
Since we are on the topic of crazy driving, watch this. Seriously insane.

YouTube - CRAZY INSANE DRIVING!!!

I live in a small town with NO track within a 50 mile radius. I have to made do with what I have, hence racing on public roads.
To all of you anti-speeders people, do not even BS that you wouldn't drive crazily if you got to drive a 612hp car.
I kind of applaud this guy.. This kinda driving in this kinda car looks amazingly fun.

Forum etiquette and rules be damned. You are a ******* douche bag for saying you are justified to race on public roads and endanger others lives. No one gave you the license to do that.

I seriously hope admins wake up and ban this guy and posting videos that promote street racing.

Ok...everyone needs to calm down.

No one is saying go speed every chance you get and hit anything in your path.

I think adeel2010 is trying to say, with cars like the CL65 the temptation is there. Everyone on this forum has glorified speeding. We have done countless threads dedicated to 0-60 times, horsepower, tourque and anything dealing with going fast. We praise cars like McLaren and Bugatti every chance we get.

The issue with this video is that the guy was simply joy riding. Honestly it wasn't the best move and yes someone could have been hurt. Thankfully it looks as though that wasn't the case.

Now some of you scream "Go To the Track". That is fine, but the same thing can happen there and yes people have been killed there as well. Some just as innocent as those on the streets. Then you also have an issue of people not being able to find a track in their area. Not to mention no one really has time to go to the track everytime they want to drive their car.

I am sure everyone that has commented in this thread has speeded sometime in their life. If you say you haven't then you are a liar. There is a difference between driving fast and being reckless.

This guy was going to fast considering how crowded the area was. Yes, he was wrong. On the other hand no one should be stressing over this video like that. It's like me going in an M3 thread scream "Why would they give it so much power...Reckless people will drive it and kill people OMG"...Come on now!

You can preach all you want. People will continue to drive fast and there is NOTHING any of you can do to stop it. As long as these types of cars are made, it will happen. Matter of fact any car has the capability of speeding.

When we buy a car we all have the responsibility of being safe and watching other drivers on the road.

Remember speeding is not the only reason for accidents. You can blame loud music, people putting on makeup, slow drivers jumping in the fast lane, cell phone users (especially texting)...There is so much out there.

No need to get dramatic. We all know right from wrong.

Calm down and stop freakin out. I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you.

And so, consequently, you're entitled to race on public roads, endangering the lives of countless others?

To all of you anti-speeders people, do not even BS that you wouldn't drive crazily if you got to drive a 612hp car.

The word you're looking for is "quickly." Most of us would accelerate hard on an empty road, or speed to 15 from a stop light.

Most of us wouldn't weave in and out of cars or go double the speed limit on the freeway. Driving erratically, when other drivers have no idea what you're doing or where you're going, is reckless to the nth degree.

I kind of applaud this guy.. This kinda driving in this kinda car looks amazingly fun.

You have an incredibly warped view of your responsibilities as a driver and a human being. Do you realize there are other people in those cars? Or do you honestly believe life is like a video game?

I just noticed something funny. Sunny has an M3 himself and he's freakin out that people drive recklessly while he owns a monster like that.

I really hope you're done with having fun in this thread in this way, 'cause this site and it's founder do not support things like these, especially when people's lives are in danger. Apparently what is a fun for you, for majority is dangerous and against any law too (;)), therefore, there are plenty of reasons for me to kindly ask you not to post such content anymore, let alone supporting it without any normal reason. You mabe have 612 reasons to be all for it, i have 1,612,000 to be against it.

Thanks for your understanding.

:t-cheers:

*** does what I drive have anything to do with it. I go to the track/autocross events when I can. And even when I can't (which is most of the time), I don't drive recklessly on public roads and endanger others lives. Just cause you have a car that can doesn't mean you should drive recklessly on public roads just like cause you have a gun doesn't mean you should go shooting in a mall.

I don't know if you are just selfish or ignorant to think you have some innate right to put others lives at risk for your own amusement, but seriously pull your head out of your ass before someone gets hurt.

I'm done, I won't mention it anymore. I understand why you would discourage such posts.
and thank you for asking so kindly instead of Sunny's technique of saying "Forum etiquette and rules be damned. You are a ******* douche bag."

btw I only brought this up because of what kind of video this thread was about.

Well having spent a lot of time behind the wheel of S55,63,65s, SL55,65s, and CL55,63,65s I can say honestly I have never driven like that. Sure I have gotten them up to 120-30ish on the highway, but there were NO other cars on that stretch of road at that time. Plus as soon as I was up to speed I was hard on the brakes. I would never do that if there were other cars and I definitely not weave through traffic like a pinball. Plus these cars when not pounded on drive just like a normal S, CL or SL, they are not Toyotas they don't just accelerate on their own.
Not too many people here care about going over the speed limit by a few miles per hour, the freeway out here is 75mph but the flow of traffic at times is close to 90, that is fine everyone gets along. The problem is when someone tries to go 120+ in that flow, that is dangerous.

Yet another proof, money can't buy sense! He sure does not deserve a car like that. I'd give him a used Yugo Gv to lower his testosterone level. :t-banghea

Most of those pricks start off with high-end performance car like that & after a big-a$$ crash & broken arm or leg, end up in a Range-Rover or G-Class! :eusa_doh:

Do you realise that you are reducing yourself to a mere tool?

Honestly, with a title like "Drive it like you stole it"...I have a feeling that this guy isn't even the owner. Most high end Mercedes-Benz owners are very mature (at least from what I've seen)...This doesn't seem like the driving of a person with a high level of common sense.

BTW, I thought this thread was suppose to be locked???
