Borrowing the first video's title, the S-Class has always been ahead of its time. It is not only the technology that debuted with each new S-Class generation that made this model and automotive cornerstone, but also its core values, to which Mercedes-Benz has been faithful since 1972, when the S-Class was first introduced to the world. Now using the title of the second video, Mercedes-Benz owns its success for many decades to a very simple idea, "the best or nothing". Words and phrases that sound as if they come from a clever advertising campaign (and indeed they are), but if you take a look at MB's rich past of innovation, they are simply just to the point.

The E and S-Class are only two of some of the most important model series for MB, and both with a very rich and interesting history. And exactly this history is the content of two wonderful videos that, deal with these two. Certainly worth watching, both videos can be found after the jump.
