Day 1 of NAIAS has come to an end, with most, though not all of the cars being unveiled. So...pick your favorites/least favorites of the auto show so far. Was anything surprising? Disappointing?

Here are my favorites:

Acura NSX Concept

Lexus LF-LC

Ford Fusion

Cadillac ATS

BMW 3er

Disappointments:

Dodge Dart: Still a nice car, but I'm just not feeling the exterior.

Acura RDX: Reminds me too much of the Kia Sorento in the press pictures. Looks better in the IRL photos, but it's still there.

I'm still not sure about the SL. I'm sold on every angle except for the front.

I agree with what you you like, but I think the Dart's getting a bad rap. I think the DLO is a bit too tall, but otherwise it's an attractive package, inside and out. I'm with you about being on the fence with the SL....i like it until I see it head-on. The new RDX does nothing for me, in fact the thing I liked about the last-gen, the turbo-4, is gone and now looks like a facsimile of an RX350.

One car I'd like to add to the "good" category: Chevy Code 130R...it's small, RWD, and kind of reminds me of ht BMW 1er, that in of itself gets a tip of the hat from me. The FR-S drift car is just the bee's knees.

Dodge Dart is a cool looking thing. I would like to see a coupe version, I think it will look great :)

The good:
- Acura NSX Concept
- Lexus LF-LC Concept
- Scion FR-S Formula Drift Racecar
The bad:
- no BMW M6
- no Subaru BRZ pricing

The designs of Ford and Hyundai have really improved and contributed to their increase in sales.
Like the new Fusion and its Jaguar like rear. Kia Optima also has somewhat similar sloping rear.
