Mercedes-Benz Vans is unveiling the new Concept EQT in an extensive Media Special on the Mercedes me media platform on Monday, 10 May 2021 at 11.00 a.m. (CEST). This concept vehicle is the forerunner to the new T-Class in the small-van segment. In keeping with the "Electric first" strategy, the battery-electric version is first out of the starting blocks in the concept vehicle.

The T-Class is the one based on the Renault Kangoo?

Gorden Wagener writes: "Our EQ family is growing. Our Concept EQT is a forerunner of a new premium quality in the small van segment. Get ready for it!" :)

Yes, the Vision Tokyo Connected Lounge. :)

This EQT can be interesting, more than anything in sales volume purely based on the versatility and type of vehicle.
I liked this concept, it’s a pity they didn’t make it
I don't know what I was doing at that time but I missed this concept, the general lines of the EQT seem to have some similarity in the profile with this "Vision", that grill is the largest in the world, the driver almost sees the street through it

The grill can be a bit overwhelming indeed, but everything else, the headlights, the overall shape, the sloping windshield looking as part of the body is very cool I think.

The headlights are somewhat similar to the Maybach concepts, and actually the whole front, large grill, slim and sharp headlights, these could have been a much better real life design direction for Mercedes.

I do not get this obsession with massive fake grill. The guys/girls who do Daimler's EV trucks seem to get it (sort of). I think all the EQ stuff would have looked much more futuristic and funcional with a clean body panel.
