Testdrive: Scirocco TSI 160

I drove the Scirocco today. I really like the exterior, its beautiful and sporty. When you drive the car and look in the mirrors you see a muscular rear, very wide.
I wish the interior was just as good as the exterior. Its a wellbuilt interior but its the interior design I dont like so much.

I drove the 1.4 liters engine that combine Turbo with a Supercharger. You get 160hp and the car does 0-62 mph in 8.0 seconds. I like the engine sound, its dark and you hear the supercharger, awesome.

The handling is very good. My car had the adjustable suspension, comfort and sportmode. I dont know if I noticed any difference between them, perhaps the steering got better. I just wished the steering react faster when you turn left and right with fast movements.

Overall its an attractive package and adjustable suspension and sport seats is equippment you should pick. The Scirocco is a strong candidate for my next car but the turbo engine with 200hp and perhaps DSG gearbox.

yes more sporty than the Golf, I think you sit lower too and that gives you a sportier feel. You feel its not a big and a heavy car and the car is agile and despite FWD you have lots of traction. The handling felt good as my car.
