XF Spy Shots: 2012 Jaguar XF

The Jaguar XF (X250) is an executive luxury sports saloon car that was manufactured and marketed by the British automobile manufacturer Jaguar Cars. Launched in Autumn 2007 as a replacement for the S-Type, the XF was designated internally as the X250. The X250 was succeeded by the X260 in 2015.
The XF was my favourite executive car right up the moment I found out, it only achieved a 4 star safety rating. 4 stars isn't the end of the world, actually it's a decent rating, but in this day and age a car like the XF achieving only 4 stars, it's a bit of a FAIL, really.

If they had sharpened up the headlight where it meets the grill instead of rounding it, it would of been perfect. But this is a failry low-res pic, I'll reserve judgment until higher-res pics come out.

It's not a deathtrap, but it's disappointing when you compare to the 5-series, A6 and E-class.

Well a Jaguar has never been equal to the Germans in that regard. Engineering they just can't compete overall.

Leaked.

Looks GREAT! Just what was needed to make the XF perfect, a new face;)

I love this car - period:t-cheers:

I hope they re-vamped the telematics as I remember when I was playing with it, I thought it was bloody slow. Also while the ergonomics were good, i'm hoping some of the materials inside have been upgraded as I found some items rather questionable.

Oh snap! There it is - the facelift this car was dying for. So long funny round-eyed, surprised look. My only criticism of this car is now levelled squarely at the poor rear legroom. That's it. The AJ III V8 engines are great, as is the new twin-turbo diesel, the (German) ZF 6-Speed 'box is a peach and the ride/handling balance is sweet.

And, above all, down here in SA, they're good value for money. I'm really pleased with this facelift - it freshens the design and puts the Jaguar into an even better position as being the viable alternative to the German trio. I'm a fan.

Much better, agreed. Now add AWD availability and we have a winner!

like the new face, but surprisingly my favourite element of the car (interior) looks dated. Will wait for better quality pics, is this supposed to be unveiled at Shanghai?
