Corvette (C7) Sport Auto: Corvette Z06 laps Hockenheimring in 1:07,25 min!!!


The Chevrolet Corvette (C7) is the seventh generation of the Corvette sports car manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 2014 until 2019. The first C7 Corvettes were delivered in the third quarter of 2013. The racing variants include the C7.R, which won the GTLM 24 Hours of Le Mans.

We already know that the Z06 Z07-Pack Corvette with 8-speed-automatic is the 2nd quickest stock car around Sachsenring, now -thanks to Christian Gebhart- it's the 5th fastest around Hockenheimring Short as well. :)

And it was the 5th testcar in 2 years of the making of this Supertest, LOL.
There was always some kind of problem with the previous German press cars according to Sport Auto, which is funny because in the last years AutoBild Sportscars tested both the automatic (record lap at Sachsenring in 2015) and the manual (2x) and the results were fantastic.

Now Sport Auto got an American press car. Or maybe two, because on the title of the magazine there is a red one. :D

Not least surprised. Have heard about many of them going into limp mode or having other issues at the track.
