The local BMW dealership (across from Audi-VW) doesn't have many new cars. I often drive by but never spot anything new (unless you people care about 318i's etc.). Except on this day, they had a BMW Z4 Coupe and an old 6'er cabrio. Now I never knew there was a 6'er convertible!

That's what I was thinking. Looks like this was a special made version handled by some cabrio specialist then. If that's true, they did a good job.

I certainly don't care about the 318i. The 3-Series is only good if you go for the 6-cylinder petrol, 6-cylinder turbodiesel or M3.

That Z4 Coupé looks mighty hot!

The 6-Series Cabriolet E24 is a cool find. Looks much better than the current 6-Series Cabrio...

318i's aren't that bad. They sound and feel like 6-cylinders. I've ridden in them and there is not a hint that there is a 4-cylinder under the hood.

BMW 3-Series doesn't make much sense if you go for the 4-cylinder, unless you seriously want an affordable BMW that is not the 1-Series.

I once owned a 3-Series you know. The best I car I ever owned was a silver 1994 BMW 320i 4-dr Saloon manual. It only had a 2.0 I-6 150 Bhp engine. But it was jolly good fun to drive and quite fast. Totally reliable car a bit cramped in the back, though. Bought it used in 1996 and kept until 1998 when the company gave me a 1998 Ford Scorpio Ghia 3.0 V6 (The Ford was an stodgy piece of f****** ugly junk!)

I loved the Bimmer and I miss it dearly.
