SLR SLR Mclaren 722 GT Racing

We are trying to find a level of interest in creating a US version on the European SLR.Club and like to get in contact with all and any SLR owners.
We own a 2005 722GT as well as 2008 SLR Roadster and we would like to find folks that are interested in this.

We recently brought one of the competition SLR GT’s over to New York to measure the interest of running the cars in a US racing series. We are currently looking in to running some events this year but need to have a few cars on US hands to have a group of 4 - 6.

The SLR 722 GT that was at the NY auto show was yours?

I don't remember seeing another roadster beside the 722s on display at the MB stand, but there was a couple of SLR coupes that belonged to a tuner and an exotics club that required members to pay $2,000+ to drive an exotic car.

You should definitely post this at MBWorld since there are plenty of SLR owners there.

There are ~half dosen+ owners in Las Vegas. Some SLRs are pretty much used as daily drivers. You might find one that would play ball.

The SLR 722GT at the NY Show was lent to us by Daimler AG in Stuttgart and will be displayed again soon.

Our own SLR 722GT (#7) is undergoing modifications for US racing regulations and will be displayed at a MB Driver event in June.

Our 2008 SLR Roadster is located in Houston Texas together with a few nice examples of the best AMG offer.
