Scania is a part of Traton, which is a part of the VAG empire. This spin-off is nothing but an act of greed. The shares will be devided and the combined value of the two separate companies will become bigger than the value of the united one. By this all shareholders will earn one-time profit but the two companies will become more vulnerable and prone to hostile attacs from China.

No. Just easy money. Very similar to what was done with the spin-off of Ferrari. But now if one of the two companies f*cks up by some reason its shares would drop drastically, because there won't be the other part to protect its back and value.
Hmmm...
A de-contented EQS with sheetmetal panels replacing the sideglass behind the B-pillars and a storage area replacing the rear seats would make an interesting midsized delivery van. The EQS being an odd "sedavan" to begin with would seem a logical foundation. The EQS may look better as a commercial vehicle as well ?
