Second NA GCZ Meet-up Pics

Kraftwagen König
The second official NA GCF meet-up now with 100% more car pics, LOL.

Lets start this off in no particular order. First of all, I'll give credit to Nate (gullwing) for harassing me for the past few days to finally put the pics online. Not to mention he was the one who took me to this car spot.

Where were we at? We were inside the Imperial Palace Casino in Vegas where they have an awesome car collection and they are ALL on sale. YAY! LOL not like either of us could afford it anyways.

Here we go. I'm not sure how many pics I can have in one post, so if the mods see fit, break it up into 2 post or as many as it takes.

I was very buzzed then and willing to smoke one, but then once everyone else was ready to do something I was no longer buzzed and thus did not.
I lost $65+ at the tables and compensated with Sam Adams.

Forget high-res, how about not blurry:D

Hey, not my fault man. There was barely any room to take the damn pics. Not all that camera friendly were they.

BTW...my boy's fiance messed it all up for us dude. He even apologized to us, LOL. Either way though, playing roulette at Bellagio was pretty cool. You lost money, but I ended up even. Even though I should've left when I had $110 over. DAMMIT!

Ya ya ya
So is he bringing you back to Vegas to make up for it?
I thought about leaving when I was way up ($75 on the table, $65 is what put down) after starting off loosing $55. My system was working really well for a while, but I knew it had a flaw and did not correct it, plus the damn green:t-banghea

At one point I called 2... It hit twice in a row... and later 2 hit twice in a row... the third time 2 hit I put a lot down on it for the second spin, but didn't hit twice:t-banghea

I don't know if he is going to bring me back or not...he said he will. So let's see, but most likely will be there for SEMA this year. (fingers crossed)

As for hitting the 2. Dude I told you, the 2 is not going to hit twice in a row the second time. Did you listen? No.

I was pretty sure two would not hit again, but was making sure. I did listen to you several times, lost most time I did:eusa_doh:

Excellent pictures!

I believe this Mercedes is a simple 170V despite the exotic color which I initially mistook for a 1933 380. The angle doesn't reveal very much but judging from the downward sloping rear I am pretty much certain that it's a 170V Sport Convertible. A very popular pre-World War II car.

I am a little busy these days so I won't be on GCF very often. Got a major project to finish for the museum I work with...:t-banghea

I check the Auto Palace web site every now and then to see what they have for sale. They used to have a few audi rally cars for sale, but they got sold. I really like the Lancia 037 Rallye. I am going to Las Vegas with my wife in 2 weeks. I heard that the best thing to see their is the topless vampire show at the Stratosphere. Did you guys see that?

Great photos - thanks for sharing! :) Love most of the cars…next time you'll have to buy one or two for the GCF community. ;)

I want to say it is a 380 but I can't remember, but then it might be a 170V, so you might be right.

I have night seen the Vampire show, but it does look interesting (if you like that sort of thing:D) One of these days I will have to find someone to go with me. You would think the local blood bank would give out free tickets to that show. My dad gives blood all the time so he gets free tickets to a lot of shows, we have 8 for Penn and Teller.

next time you'll have to buy one or two for the GCF community.
Sure send me a check and no problem.

Christian, you might be right about that being the 170. I'm sure Nate can find out for us, LOL.

Drronh: I didn't know they had a website, LOL. I too haven't seen the topless vampire show, I guess I'll check that out next time...or better yet I'll wait until you come back and ask you how it was.

ree: thanks man. I wish I had a better camera and more space to take better photos. As for purchasing...I think if everyone on this board gives me $5 each then I will buy the Gullwing for this site. :D

It is not a 170V or a 380. It is a 1938 MERCEDES-BENZ 320 CABRIOLET A.

1938 Mercedes-Benz 320 Cabriolet A 1 of 30 Cabriolet A bodies fitted on the 320 chassis. This particular car is the only known Right-Hand-Drive 320 Cabriolet A in existence. This very desirable prize winning car was meticulously restored some 20 years ago and has been on display in a museum since. The most handsome and sought after of the cabriolets offered by the company, they are seldom publicly available and it would be most difficult to find another comparable of this car.
More pics on the link, you can see what else they have to offer.
