Not 2000 but 1000.

Destined for China.. My, how the world has changed... I believe there were old Phantoms in China, but they were for government use. I'll bet this new one will be delivered to a new-rich businessman.

still an impressive number sold for such a high end car....

With current sales, are they making a profit?

I'm sure RR is feeling their heart ache when they see Bentley so successful with their 'pseudo-luxury' cars.

you also have to take into consideration that bentley has many more models that cost alot less money and they have sports cars like the conti gt and now the sportier saloon. Rolls royce just has there one car and soon to with the 100ex so that may get them some more sales numbers

I think that when BMW bought RR, it was always going to be a long term effort. I don't think that they expect the Phantom to support the whole company. Once the ideas start to flow, I think we will see an expansion of RR.

P.S. I don't see why they wouldn't be making profit. And if they aren't they will be soon when the new models come. I think Smart can a learn a few things from RR and Mini.

You must live in a very wealthy neighbourhood - I only get these rare sightings once every 2 months or so.
