Koenig Specials [Review] 1000HP Koenig Special Ferrari Testarossa

Koenig Specials was a German tuning company known for its extreme modifications of high-performance and luxury vehicles, particularly Ferraris, in the 1980s and 1990s. Founded by Willy Koenig, the company gained notoriety for its wide-body kits, powerful twin-turbocharged engines, and overall aggressive aesthetic. While the company still exists, it now focuses on producing car parts for certain Ferrari models instead of the full vehicle modifications.

Willy Koenig was well known in the 1980s for his totally over the top modifications and tuned BMW, Mercedes and Porsche models. But then Ferrari launched the beautiful Testarossa in 1984 and Koenig Specials went insane to extract all the power out of the 4,9 liter Flat 12.

The most memorable car from Koenig Specials is this heavily modified turbo chaarged Ferrari Testarossa with an enormous 1000PS of sledgehammer power.

In the late 80s this car was the fastest car in the world and accelerated from 0-100km/h in 3.5sec and reached a top speed of over 340km/h.
