No one will miss the Focus RS, it anyway does not have 5 cylinders anymore.

Nah, proper enthusiasts will indeed miss it. Just like the Clio RS will be missed.

This cancelling of the RS is a shame - and a big blow for performance Fords. Ford SA have decided not to offer the Mk 8 Fiesta ST here which is a bloody shame.

I believe the UK is the second biggest market behind the U.S.

Yes and since SUVs, crossovers and pickups are exempt of the gas guzzler tax, that means less in penalties they have to pay to the IRS.

You just have to look at the prices for Escort Twin Cams, Mexico's, RS1600, RS1800, RS2000's, Capri RS3100, Capri 2.8i, Sierra RS all models, RS Fords are popular and in high demand, especially in the UK where they have a cult following...

Year on year the Fiesta and Focus are amongst too 3 best selling cars in the UK.
