yes, but not as big as i thought. look at the Countryman. you can order the radio an climate control parts in black and a new nav-entertainment-system (compare to press release MINI Connected) as discribed here last year IAA:

The official launch of the MINI life cycle improvement is coming up shortly (july) Whereas the successful small "Premium" city car gets a number of improvements such as updated engines , better efficiency and CO 2 outputs. New colors and some new interior quality updates.
In appearance the new MINI Life cycle Improvement receives more smoother front lights with new graphics and LED technology in light of customer personalisation options there will be new Graphics and an optional "Red" Roof and Mirror caps for JCW models to add more ooomph and mimic the previous generation MINI GP.
Also shown above is the return of the MINI-lite spoked alloys a feature MINI customers missed when the R56 was introduced in 2006, Now they are back . The big news is of slight tweaks to provide the MINI as the best handling and driving premium city car of the segment.

In light of the new MINI life Cycle Impulse , The refresh will spread to both the Cabrio and Clubman in order to have the MINI charged and ready for it's new immitator.

The new MINI will thankfully ditch that "new TV" ad campaign in light of something that suits the culture and the image of MINI but there will be no ill-conceived , poorly scripted , badly acted or trying to channel "Matrix" Cool characters and visuals"
It will be all about the MINI and what a MINI does best.

In other related MINI news - In europe MINI Countryman orders are piling up. So far MINI Cooper D Countryman seems to be the Countryman with the most orders ahead of September launch.
