Porsche surge gets more dealers
21/05/2007 09:24
The latest figures indicate that Porsche sales in South Africa have rocketed by 105 per cent, breaking the 100 unit sales barrier for the first time.
Porsche Centre South Africa also confirmed that while it had broken the 100 unit mark for the first time, it had also outstripped the combined sales figures of its exotic car competition.
Of the 105 units sold, 41 were 911s, 38 Boxsters and Caymans and 26 were new Cayennes. Porsche Centre CEO Toby Venter also announced that with consumers showing increased interest in the brand, the latest sales data has spurred him to explore a national expansion plan of the Porsche dealer network.
