Man, Porsche's marketing material really SHAMES everyone else's. They really embrace their heritage and future in a graceful, classy, and relevant way. They build such a great following through this, of people who are proud to own a piece of Porsche's timeline. Mercedes and BMW's material comes off as cheesy and short-sighted for the most part, in comparison.
What I really did like, as well, is how the guy was talking about Porsche's Endurance 944 Concept. He said it was in "response" to M-B's endurance champion, the W111 (I think it was) Diesel. He said Porsche canned their Concept and it never saw the light of day (though it was fully built and ready to go), because they the time they finished it, M-B was working on the W112. THAT was the power and leadership of M-B back in the day. Makes you miss those days.... even if you are too young to have been around for them.
