File this in the "life just isn’t fair” pile--millionaire heiress and socialite Paris Hilton has received a brand new 2012 Lexus LFA for her upcoming 30th birthday from new boyfriend Cy Waits.

Of course, this was on top of what was already an extravagant day of gifts on Monday’s Valentine's Day.

The new car, finished in a distinctive bright yellow, was presented to Hilton on Tuesday as an early surprise in the lead up to her birthday later this week. A film crew for Hilton’s latest reality show was also on hand to capture the special moment.

At around $375,000 a pop, the Lexus LFA is certainly one of the more expensive gifts a boyfriend could bestow upon his love but for Waits, the exorbitant pricetag is likely to be of little concern. Waits is a relatively successful entrepreneur and co-owns a number of nightclubs, including several in Las Vegas.

If you’re thinking this was an extravagant present, recall that singer Beyonce Knowles gave her hubby Jay-Z has been a $2 million Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his 41st birthday.

If only our significant others were so generous…

Why do I feel that Lexus has something to do with this? The LF-A has been in the press every single day for the past 4-5 weeks. The yellow paint job was announced barely 7-14 days ago and already one is available to none other than Paris Hilton. Having been in the ownership of an SLR she's no stranger to wide body V12 Grand tourers, so the LF-A will be in safe hands.

Regardless of what anyone says, this car is fast and has tome high tech gadgets but it is hideous. It really is. It looks like a 1980s spaceship found in a sci-fi movie that had a 2,000 budget.

But let's all try and take a positive out of such a tragedy. If there's anyone on here who's really dying to own an LF-A at a more affordable price, in a matter of days there should be a yellow one available with just a few scratches, some curb rashes on the rims, ...and a ding on the front bumper. Low mileage, one owner, non-smoker (debatable )!

I thought it went more along the lines of they just want the car to be driven around rather than be locked-up in a garager for 362 days of the year? ..and with the LF-A in USA, is the policy still that you can't actually buy the car outright..but rather you are 'leasing' it ?
