The Porsche 944 is a sports car manufactured by Porsche from 1982 until 1991. A front-engine, rear-wheel drive mid-level model based on the 924 platform, the 944 was available in coupé or cabriolet body styles, with either naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines.

Hi,

the video is a step-by-step tutorial for overhauling the intermediate shift lever on the Porsche 944. There is a plastic block on the intermediate shift lever that transmits the shift movements of the shift rod to the transmission. Over time, the plastic is worn and the gear lever gets more and more play. At Porsche there is only the complete intermediate shift lever at a very high price. Partworks now offers an overhaul kit (article no 1266) for the lever. The video shows the removal, installation and overhaul itself in detail:
