Opinions on the Audi S3?

Also, isn't the A6 a superior car to the A3 in every way? Why are you considering the A3?

Just curious, but what do your coworkers/boss say about your driving an Audi despite working for BMW? I imagine there must be lots of banter.

Cashmere, I would love to do that. Unfortunately, some forum members here have a stick up their asses and wouldn't appreciate it. Why invest time in something that will be criticized?

"Personal attacks" is FAR too strong, by the way. Nobody is personally attacking you. What I have done is put forward the theory that you're a fantasist. Not without reason, but based on YOUR actions. The thread from one year ago when you *almost* took delivery of the MB is well-known. You don't post for a year and then out of the blue you post asking about the S3, and talking about your properties and investments. What exactly are you doing here? You have had quite a wide and varied number of cars on order yet never seem to take delivery. And this was all whilst you were a BMW Genius, which doesn't command a particularly high salary.

I think his coworkers would have been more curious as to how he has the means to own or at least order the following cars within a 12-18 month period whilst earning a relatively low salary as a BMW Genius...

I recommend the rs3, i bought one 3 weeks ago and man that thing is getting better and better by the day. That 2.5l straight 5 is priceless, idk about the s3 i cant imagine my rs3 being nearly as fun with a weaker engine.

That's one lease payment I don't want to have, lol. That's a $1000+ payment right there, lol.

Audi S3 Residual is VERY low. 49%. MF is low too though at .0095. The Audi S4/S5 both have better residual and MF. Audi S5 Prestige residual for this month is 63% and MF is .00175. The S3 would basically have the same payment has an S4/S5 which is ludicrous.

S5 coupe hasn't changed very much but the lights looks great.

A friend of mine has an S3, and according to the stories he tells me about the car, it is a little beast! If im not mistaken, it is a stage 2 tune, with 280whp and 360hp to the engine (not 100% sure on the stats, but it is around those numbers). Apparently his car is doing 4 second 0-60 pulls. Even his dad got pissed of at him because his s3 is faster than his 997 carrera S and Range Rover V8SC. If that was not enough, the car is armoured, so it would perform even better than it does if it wasn't.

My brother has an S3. The throttle seems very sensitive and acceleration is very brisk. It is a great little car. I would recommend it.
