Opel Mokka (2020): Erste ungetarnte Ansichten

How is Opel doing under the PSA ownership?

Pre-COVID-19, fortunes have been mixed. And the recession will obviously harm all German-based manufacturers to varying degrees-but especially volume producers will be highly vulnerable. That being said, there are some very interesting products in Opels' pipeline. BEVs' are the future of Opel according to PSA powers-that-be. It has been indicated that Opel will become a manufacturer of BEVs' ONLY. In any case, Opels' future as a PSA subsidiary is far more secure than it could have been under GM management.

With a 330km WLTP range still not at the level of the Koreans which have a similar price point. Normal use would put it at 250km in practice which probably would persuade too much private buyers despite substantial incentives in a number of EU countries.
