Opel Adam official pics

Copying has been taken to a new height and this car is an example of how to successfully do it. The Grille is SLS, the rims are Citroen, the colour pillars are Audi A1 and the hockey-stick character line on the doors is from BMW. There no shame because it is one annoyingly attractive car. Even the interior layout is slick.

Somehow like the new Ford Fusion/Mondeo, it takes clues from a lots of cars, but the result is very handsome

Well it's in the name isn't it? :D

Immitation isn't a crime. You only need to visit H&M, Zara, River Island and Topshop to realise that their business model is based on immitating the big designers and bringing their designs to market quicker and at a lower price.

2015 Opel / Vauxhall Adam S packs 150 PS
Goes up for order in November
Opel and Vauxhall have unveiled the Adam S at the Paris Motor Show.

Previewed by the Adam S concept, the production model has a familiar design but is distinguished by a front lip spoiler, aerodynamic side skirts and a sportier rear wing. The car also has LED daytime running lights, red brake calipers and 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels.

The cabin largely carries over but there are three new seating options including Recaro Performance seats with Morrocana or nappa leather upholstery. The Adam S also has special floor mats and an IntelliLink infotainment system with a seven-inch display, Bluetooth connectivity and Siri Eyes Free compatibility.

A turbocharged 1.4-liter engine resides under the hood and produces 150 PS (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission which enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed in excess of 200 km/h (124 mph). The engine has also been equipped with a start/stop system which enables it to return 6.4 L/100km (36.7 mpg US / 44.1 mpg UK).

Speaking of performance, the Adam S features a sport-tuned suspension, high-performance brakes and a retuned steering system.

The Adam S will be available for order in November and the first deliveries are scheduled for 2015.
