Sadly they are printed on regular news print paper - only the 5-series is printed on high-quality paper. But nevertheless, I like all of them...

Seriously. If I get a job w/ one of the German big 3 in their marketing dept. I'll for sure look into stepping up some of the advertising in periodicals like newspapers. Newspaper can be one of the most effective marketing tools for three reasons: 1) It's easily accessible, and 2) It's dirt cheap 3) they're everywhere in HUGE circulation.

I have to disagree with point number 2 - getting a one page ad will set you back US12k in our English daily... I guess the reason being, it's the only full-size local paper in circulation in Singapore.

That's a bargain - you'd pay at least the same (+VAT) for a full page in the local newspaper here, and it only has approximately 200,000 readers.

You're not the only one who wants to work for the German 3 brother. I also want to work for them. As for exactly what side I want to work for, marketing, consulting or other aspectes, I'm unsure of right now. Most likely marketing but I haven't made up my mind yet...but I still have time.
