They are class below and are tiny on the inside compared with the Superb. The majority of reviews compare the Superb to the E, A6, 5 and the Passat .

The Superb is a version of the Passat with an enlongated wheelbase and a cheaper price and the Passat is certainly not in the same class as the 5/E/A6. It stays even a little bit lower than the 3/C/A4. Not only the size determine the class.

Allow me to disagree. Skoda is not cheap anymore and the discounts given by Euratec are quite small. The last time I was in the market for a new company car I received a better price for a Passat 2.0 TDI variant than scarcely equipped Skoda Superb sedan with the same engine. I chose the Skoda, because I can not stand the Passat but two days latter I received an offer from "M car", for absolutely the same price for a demo BMW 320 d touring with an ZF auto transmission. Regretfully it was too late.

I agree with you about E-tec policy, but this is valid only partially. They make super offers, but not every month. Even now, they have 19,1% for the Superb L&K.
Back to Hyundai, I insist that they are too expensive and overrated. There are many examples of customers coming to their showroom for Santa Fe and leaving with a BMW X3 or something from the next door, lol

IMO the Scala is now less interesting after the launch of the new Kamiq crossover that will have a boot that is only a bit smaller at 421 vs 467L. Being a crossover the Kamiq is likely to depreciate less and couple that with a competent VW Polo and mega spacious Octavia, it will be challenging for the Scala to find its place in the market.

The predecessor Rapid did well in Eastern Europe as it was a cheaper Golf. Whether it will sell better than the Kamiq will depend on price after discounts as their asking prices will be neck and neck.

Now ypu remind me on bosnian folks when they say Octavia is not class with Golf but with Passat. And you ask why? Answer is it is limousine, bigger therefore better.

Having clocked a few thousand kms in one, it's definitely Polo. But the interior room is not Golf class. It's S-Class LWD class!
