The Nissan GT-R (Gran Turismo–Racing; model code: R35) is a series of cars built by Nissan from 2007 to 2025. It has a 2+2 seating layout and is considered both a sports car and a grand tourer. The engine is front-mid mounted and drives all four wheels. It succeeds the Nissan Skyline GT-R, a high-performance variant of the Nissan Skyline. The car is built on the PM platform, derived from the FM platform used in the Skyline and Nissan Z models. Production is conducted in a shared production line at Nissan's Tochigi plant in Japan.

The car should be a massive eighteen seconds faster round the Nordschleife than the normal GT-R. The people at Nissan are now testing and developing this faster version of the GT-R at the Nürburgring.

The most important factor in being faster will be the turbo, this will increase the power with 80 bhp to 550 bhp. The front of the car will also be modified slightly, this way the brakes can get more air to cool them. It looks like the V-Spec will also be available with ceramic brake disks. You can almost count on it that the V-Spec will also be lighter than the normal GT-R, due to the use of light weight materials.

It isn’t known when the GT-R V-Spec will make its debut. The normal GT-R will be delivered around March 2009 in the Netherlands. We expect the V-Spec to arrive 6 months to a year later.
