Nice! I personally hate the things as I just find them too cumbersome, both to carry and while shooting. When using them I feel I am bound/restricted to the tripod.. I much prefer shooting without them. But they certainly open up possibilities

Thanks. Cumbersome, no doubt. But I think it will help a lot with getting sharper images in less than perfect lighting (and as we have seen from my examples i like to try to take pictures that way).

yeep, keep in mind it's not gonna freeze your subject, only the camera.. so if you're shooting people your limit is still gonna be around 1/30...

I just have to thank you guys again. You have been very helpful.

I just thaught I'd say goodbye to this thread by posting my first flower picture. How much I dislike the thaugt of photographing flowers I just had to do it once (Scott told me).

Oh well, I did all things wrong in this picture.

1. Hand held
2. No macro
