As with all things from Bugatti, the Chiron was not intended to produce it forever. In his case, the manufacturer limited the number of vehicles to 500.

The vehicle will be on view at the event in one of the two variants of the recently announced Edition Noire Sportive. Like all Chirons, it will be powered by a W16 engine with a power of almost 1,500 hp.

It looks like a Chiron with some charcoal coloured matt wrap.

Is it me, or has Bugatti also caught the Winkelmann disease of releasing a bajillion fancy-but-not-so-relevant special edition models?
He's doing the same thing he was doing in Lamborghini, and I am starting to get a little worried..

It's nothing new. There were a never-ending number of "limited editions" of the Veyron.

Unfortunately car buyers are suckers for this marketing trick and fall for it, believing that their car will appreciate in value or retain its value better than standard spec models.

This is not always true and subsequently, at trade-in, owners get a big shock when the dealer tells them that their car isn't worth as much as what they thought.

This abuse in price of the Black Editions, reminds me of the great anecdote that applies well to how to act against these robberies of super luxury brands.

The story of the Manager of Maradona, Guillermo Coppola as famous as his represented by the follies he did:
Maradona wanted an F40, but he wanted it BLACK! At that time (1986), there was no one more famous than him, Coppola met with Enzo, despite being sold out, because he is Maradona, Enzo agreed to sell him one for $500,000, but obviously in the only color available, in red,was unthinkable at that time another color, Coppola tells him, but Diego wants it black, Enzo replied that he was going to f#ck off, Coppola said ok then Jorgito my mechanic on the corner of my neghborhood would be happy to paint it, Enzo go into a rage, but I accept to paint it black without charge since he could not allow that external groping with his best car.

Then Coppola convinced the President of Napoles (who got along pretty badly with Maradona), to give it the F40 to Maradona as a gift, a gesture of friendship, how much cost did the president say, $ 1,000,000 said Coppola; Whattttt? the president said; but in the end he accepted and pay it, to generate a better relationship with the player, the only black Ferrari F40 in the world, factory painted, came out free and with $ 500,000 profit, that's how business is done, when Maradona got out of his plane and they gave him the F40, he got on and said to Coppola: "But doesn't have a radio?"

Is it me, or has Bugatti also caught the Winkelmann di...

Yup, and they pretty much all got hit with the ugly stick.
