Man I really hope he's alright. To be honest, when I saw this thread title, my heart already sank because I was afraid there wouldn't be something too good inside.

I guess it's odd to assume somebody's not okay because they don't post on a Forum, but he hasn't been on the M-B Forums of late and seemed to be pretty active up until then.

That's the strange thing about getting to know people online. And when they disappear nobody really thinks about the causes other than the fact that they might just be taking a break. Unlikely in Jack's case as he was an avid poster unless he was ill. I didn't want to start the thread by being negative about his health but he may be incapacitated or even have passed away. I hope he is OK - he has/had a rich, vital life despite losing his partner and was so active.

I'd been wondering what happened to him for a while now. There is nothing from him on MBWorld either. Sigh.

I should have kept his number when I had it. I called him once when I bought a GPS from him back in '06 (GCF's first transaction ) and that was it.

I know he took a bunch of time off last year because of health reasons, so might be that. Or all the ladies in Sun city need rides from him. When ever I am in his area in town I always look for his car.

Do you have any ways to check upon his status? I.e if he's alright?
