My BMW 120i - Montego Blue

Well...this is it folks! After the long wait of 3 months...and even before that...the dream of owning a BMW...and following all the spy-shots and information provided by EnI and SCOTT27...my new and first ever BMW has finally arrived. She arrived by train from Leipzig two days ago. My BMW was built on July 17, 2007.

I went by the dealer today to have a look at it. All I am waiting on now is for them to install the rear PDC and the front 130i chrome grills...and for the car to register and receive plates. Hopefully by Friday August 17, I should be driving it!

More detailed pictures will follow then...for now...here's my new BMW 120i sitting at the garage of the newly arrived vehicles at the dealer...enjoy and fell free to comment...

The options that I have added on top of the "Sport" equipment level are:

-Xenon headlights
-Exterior Chrome Line
-Mirror package with electric folding
-Lights Package
-Rear PDC (gift from the dealer)

Congratulation on your new car mate, your 120i looks wonderful. The Montego Blue is such a nice colour and you will definitely get a few looks while driving on the streets, and enjoying every moment of it.

Thanks mate! :t-cheers:

I was actually set on getting it black or sparkling graphite! The dealer actually insisted like mad that I should get it montego blue. I had not seen montego blue then, given the fact that it is a new color on a new car (the 3dr), so I didn't know what it would look like. So, to convince me, he showed me a few pictures of the launch event here in Athens where they had a montego blue 120i. That convinced me!

Now...I can't wait...I just CANNOT wait to drive away in it! That's all I can think about right now... :D

I know exactly how you feel, can you even sleep at night?

Got one question for you, are the tyres run flat or normal version?

I think you can still opt for the space saving wheel instead of run flats...

I have moved some pictures on my mobile phone. I look at them before I go to sleep... :D:D:D:D:D

All BMWs have runflats (as Just_me said). I don't find them that hard. They are OK. The safety they provide is unparalleled! It is a great feeling knowing that even at 140km/hr if you have a flat tire you won't damage yourself and/or your car. I have heard stories of friends having a flat tire and almost died. I would never change my runflats with normal tires. The only downside is that they are expensive to replace.

Thank you for your comments guys!

Just_me...your 1er should be on its way soon right?

Hmm it's a bit difficult to see the true colour of the car because of the light condition but is it the same as this:

I just saw my first montegoblue 118i - 3dr on the streets. Its bloody beautiful in montegoblue, nice blue depth. 3dr look elegant when you see the car in action.
Montegoblue would be my choice as well :usa7uh:
