Found this great car chase scene video FROM THE MOVIE "UN HOMME ET UNE FEMME 20 ANS DEJA'".

It has some classic 80's saloons, Lancia Thema, BMW E28 5series, Merc 190 W201, Renault 25, Peugeot 505 and Saab 900 Turbo.

Wow, what a nice "road test"

In any case, it's amazing the level of abuse these old machines can withstand and still function relatively ok. I don't expect a modern day automobile to go through all this sh!t and still be drivable.

There's also an Audi 100. My dad had one of those back when I first got my licence... I spotted the very same car for sale on the Internet a couple of years ago with 500,000 km on the clock, which is quite an achievement given that quite a few of those were driven by yours truly at a time when I didn't have much mechanical sympathy...

Keen Audi observers will notice that the 100 in the video is not a Quattro due to the suspension hop.

The shot with the Lancia spinning its tires as its accelerates is very nice.
