Moms car getting changed

Hi good day all my mom has the 2014 C220d which we bought in SA w205 and imported when we moved to UK sentiment reason's..

The car has now around 60k miles and wirh rhe new Ulez charges deciding to change her car for a used 2018 oneards Mercedes with low kilos hopefully

Any guess on which car i am looking at ....

If it's a PHEV, a 330e? If not, another c class perhaps?

The good thing about plug-in Mercs is that they have DC charging.

I was thinking of getting a hybrid but we decided the price difference was not worth it for her so we going for a Diesel again yes I thought of getting a Petrol rather but my dad prefers Diesel.. I did battle selling my moms car or rather get a good price as it’s imported so price took a knock

So guys did a deal
Sold my moms 2014 C 220 d had about 60k miles the car was very good condition and I never had any real issues just one or two small things .. the car did have the squeaks on the middle console as per almost every w205

the seats and rest of my car was like new almost even with that good mileage and like 5 drivers

so the car was a import from SA when we moved and due to that was a bit of a mission to get a decent price but thanks to Mercedes Watford they actually have a very close price to what local same cars we’re going where as others knocked of like 4 to 5 k in pounds

The GLC is her and dad and mine for when I like to use replacement

GLC 220d ULEZ clear 2019 facelift
17000 miles very very clean and no scratches

Did about 50 miles already today mostly in and around our areas so was nice to drive on the same roads to compare the height is really nice addition to the c class sedan you get better road view especially around round abouts .. feels very agile for some reason in some situations more then the C .
The one negative compared to C was the GLC being AMG line you feel the potholes more which sadly we have our fair share off

The interior I like the Dash as it’s wood and no squeaks thankfully.. our first car with MBUX what a pleasure to use and absolutely loving it. The touch pad is nice to use but the rotary was better I guess I’ll get used to it.. I found myself using the touch screen mostly and quite easily to my surprise..

The hey Mercedes was very easy and worked on all four addresses I have very smoothly gone are the days of typing your adress..

it’s a very nice car really enjoyed it so far although basically a simalr car to what I had the facelift really made the car a much better car and the fit and finish is superb compared to the w205 made in SA

Well basically she wanted a suv she liked the GLB but I will use the car often and I managed to convince here FWD is not as nice so she said ok you know more about cars lol and as most of you know this colour is my favourite

the surprise for me was the informant system the MBUX is so far ahead the old system and the wood console is very nice in centre the fit and finish of centre console is way better ..

I did miss the clock in the centre console

? Sounds like you make most of the car decisions.

Mum has a Macan S on order for delivery in June. I may have also had something to do with that decision. ?
