C-Class mercedes c 200 active brake assistance warning


The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

I recently acquired Mercedes Benz C 2900 F/L model and senn that "active brake assistance malfunction" warning appearing and its recommending me to consult a qualified technician. Vehicle has not done even 600km. Kindly share your experiences on this type of malfunctions.
 
It may be due to the following:
  • The radar sensor system is temporarily inoperative, e.g. due to electromagnetic radiation emitted by nearby TV or radio stations or other sources of electromagnetic radiation
  • The system is outside the operating temperature range
  • The on-board voltage is too low.
  • On Mercedes-AMG vehicles, the ESP® is deactivated
  • Function is impaired due to heavy rain or snow
It is possible that this one can be solved with a software update.

Thx, Radar inoperative may be the cause, as it was recently removed and reinstalled to facilitate a front buffer change .
