Unimog Mercedes-Benz Unimog 60th anniversary edition by LEGO

The Unimog is a Daimler Truck line of multi-purpose, highly offroad capable AWD vehicles produced since 1948. Utilizing engine-driven power take-offs (PTO) Unimogs have operated in the roles of tractors, light trucks and lorries, for snow plowing, in agriculture, forestry, rural firefighting, in the military, even in rallying and as recreational vehicles. The frame is designed to be a flexible part of the suspension, not to carry heavy loads.

The Unimog U 400 from LEGO comes in a 1:12.5 scale and features a working pneumatically operated crane

Want a Mercedes-Benz for €190? And it's a Unimog to boot.

This is the Unimog U 400 from LEGO - a new creation between Mercedes-Benz and the famed toy-maker to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Unimog.

This toy comes in a 1:12.5 scale and features a pneumatically operated crane that offers several functions in moving loads around.

The model is highly-realistic and even the engine details are correct, down to the pistons.

The LEGO Technic Unimog U 400 will be sold in toy stores starting in August and will also be available from Mercedes-Benz dealers.

Edit: At NAMPO Agricultural show here in SA on the Mercedes-Benz stand there was a G-Class G55 for R1870 000.00
and a Unimog Double Cab for R1200 000.00 LOL! Cheap price for such an extraordinary vehicle compared to the G-Class!
