G-Class Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 35 gets detailed

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, colloquially known as the G-Wagon or G-Wagen (as an abbreviation of Geländewagen), is a four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by Magna Steyr (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch) in Graz, Styria, Austria, and sold by Mercedes-Benz. Originally developed as a military off-roader, later more luxurious models were added to the line. In certain markets, it was sold under the Puch name as Puch G until 2000.

Mercedes has released new pictures and details about the G-Class Edition 35.

Designed to celebrate the model's 35th anniversary, the Edition 35 has a designo mystic white or palladium silver metallic exterior with obsidian black metallic accents on the bumpers, mirrors, wheel arches and roof. If the two-tone styling is too brash for your tastes, the company will also offer an optional obsidian black metallic paint job which is described as a "little more subtle."

Speaking of styling, the SUV has also been equipped with the Sport and Chrome packages as well as 18-inch alloy wheels.

Moving on to the interior, drivers will find designo leather seats and red contrast stitching. The model also has the Exclusive package which includes a leather-wrapped dashboard, an AMG steering wheel, piano black trim and a designo black DINAMICA microfiber roof liner.

The Edition 35 package will be available on G 350 BlueTEC and G 500 variants and pricing starts at €84,900 and €94,800 respectively
