CLC-Class (CL203) ***Mercedes-Benz CLC Premier in Mühldorf***

Mercedes-Benz introduced the C-Class Sport-Coupé (codenamed "Peanut" ver. CL203) in October 2000 as a three-door hatchback coupé, based on the regular W203 C-Class. The SportCoupé was spun off into its own separate line called the CLC-Class in 2008. It is succeeded by the C-Class (C204). Production: 2008-2011.

The Mercedes CLC premiered in Mühldorf today. I arrived a bit later when most of the visitors were gone. This car looks pretty awesome on the outside. The only real shortcoming is the old interior but at least it's from the facelifted W203 C-Class so it's of much better quality than the original W203.

Thanks for the pictures Christian :usa7uh:.

I still can't get past how this car is the old C class. I would hate to be the salesman that had to explain that one to a customer that says, "Why does this car have a different interior than the c-class sedan?" ... err uhhh, because Mercedes is cheap... I mean... uh...

Inset in shot #12 looks fine wimmer...:-)

Never have like this model... not a real MB in my book.

The ext actually looking very nice but the int is of great quality no doubt it's just how it looks compared to the new ext style.

I think a lot of pple r too quick to kill this car. Its Ok. N personally, afa exterior goes, id take this to d 1er hatch coupe

It's nothing wrong with the exterior to be honest , except for the rearlights which I dont like. And the price is too high but thats typical Mercedes.

It's not like I'm running to the closest MB dealer to trade my babybimmer for this.

All MB's in Germany are expensive, but that is waaaaay too much for that little car...especially compared to current US-Euro exchange rates lol.

It looks like they kept the old C-Class interior, but are the under-pinnings the same as the current?

42K for that is horror. What's your opinion on the exterior Wimmer?

The exterior, in proper trim like in my photos (the white one especially), can look very charming. I personally think that white CLC230 looks pretty hot. This design makes the old CL203 Sportcoupe look outright bland - despite the new CL204 simply being a "major facelift" of that same car.

Yes, but with some major modifications and improvements. I recall reading in Autobild that there are over 2,500 changes of various nature to this car. ;)

I think it's pretty pathetic they didn't at least remove the cutline on the place where the old backlights were....looks very cheap. It would've looked a lot better without that cutline.
