At the Volkswagen Akteingesellschaft Annual General MeetingMartin Winterkorn CEO of Volkswagen Akteingesellschaft confirmed VW & Audi are developing a hybrid Touareg & Q7, he also confirmed Polo & Golf will also have a hybrid drive in the near future.
Also Mr. Winterkorn hinted at a sub Lupo sized car in the A000 class.
As for SEAT the new Altea Freetrack will be launched late this year and the new SEAT Family Sedan will be released next year.
Martin Winterkorn said:You can be sure that we will have a smaller hybrid system in the very near future for our compact class models, such as the Golf and Polo
As early as next year, we will be launching a hybrid version of the Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg in the market.
