Lexus Track Day (Pics Inside!)

I found this on another forum, and found it quite interesting:

I do event Management for a living. Normally I do big corporate events, concerts etc.

This week was different. I was the Project Manager for a Lexus Event at the famous Hockenheimring (Formula 1 Race Track). I was responsible for the entire event, and it turned out really well.

To top it all of... I got to tear it up in the new IS-F after all the guests left. The people from Lexus let me drive for as long as I wanted (they even changed the tires for me after a few laps)

The IS-F is a pretty incredible car... the exhaust sound is

we also had people compare the Lexus RX against the X5, Cayenne and MB ML.

this was a stupid move from Lexus IMO... the X5 and the Cayenne are obvioulsy way better SUV's (especially when it comes to performance and handling)

the ML was out of comission for almost the entire event... what a pile of $hit... Listing the problems on that car would take me at least 10 minutes... MB FTL!

I am liking the direction Lexus is taking with growing/promoting the Lexus brand as a lifestyle product. Its exactly what they need

I gotta say that the IS-F is impressive, but I hope they weren't comparing the RX with the Cayenne and X5. Even on the little wheels the Porsche is a better driver. Ditto for the X5.

Lol, I hope the girls don't see what he posted about them.

As for IS-F, I saw two today, which was surprising cause I have only seen may be two before this. The first one was silver and I was very underwhelmed, the other was some dark metallic color and actually looked good.

What Cayenne & X5 are doing on a Lexus ring ...?

I hope they're not trying a horrible Rx-F experiment ...!
