Better late than ever. Lexus decided to respond to Audi for the commercial where the German brand was making fun at the Lexus auto parking system...

Lexus Tweaks Audi in Latest Spots

Just for reminder the Audi A4 Parking commercial...

AHAHA love that kind of ads... But I don't see why Lexus is doing donuts, they just damage their image of "cruising car" with donuts, it's not classy...

They could have found another way to moke Audi, than making doughnuts with a Lexus; The Audi did no doghnuts but a funny parking slide..

Waiting to see the ad; but it seems Audi managed to nerves them also, and the response is imo not very accurate. They just show how angry they are, and exagerate too much for it to be fun. Whereas the Audi ad is marvelously ironical but not heavy or angry!

They also enter the Audi game, they should imo have moved it to their strongpoints to show how the Lexus is better engineered than the "basic" Audi, and how a car that park itself and moves with no noise at all is better than an Audi with big diesel noise and no futuristic gadget, and then a motto like "engineering of the past" or something like that...

Whereas here, they agree with Audi how stupid it is to park automatically, and just make fool of themself with doughnuts... Try to be funny, but show how angry they are. imo.

All that said, without having seen the Lexus spot. It may makes me change my mind, dunno...

I hate these cheap-shot adverts as this type of marketing is just childish. Absolutely no need for it - from either party. :eusa_doh:

*big sigh*

Lexus commercial...

I seriously doubt that a stock GS can do those moves. The body roll in the turns would had been pretty bad for example. I can smell significant modifications. :D
