Sporty rims ruin the elegance of the LS. In fact I feel that anything "sporty" does not belong on the design of the current LS. It's just such a design that is purely elegant and classy and has no defining sporty features.

Kind of makes you wonder how the Germans can pull it off with the S8, S-Class AMG's and Alpina 7-Series. :eusa_thin

The rims on sports package are hard to ease with! However, it does looks great with after-market rims in the 1st set of pics! :usa7uh:

Merc1, got to agree that the way the ground-effects are applied, it looks rather after-markety, especially the front bumper. Lot of the American auto-journalists are coming away surprisingly impressed on how well it handles and drives. I quite like the rims, but the saddles leather ought to be a darker brown or, better yet, alcanthara. Also, they need to get rid of the that 1980's-era digital clock.

I think this will bode well for the next-gen LS, with a higher probability of an LS-F in the future if the Sport version well-received by consumers.
