Lamborghini CEO says that a new Huracán will come to market at the end of 2024

The much-loved Lamborghini Huracán will be replaced by a followup model by the end of 2024, the company’s CEO recently said. The move could spell the end of vehicles with no electric assistance for the automaker.

“At the end of 2024 a completely new Huracán will come to market,” Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s CEO, told Road & Track. He added that the new model will feature a plug-in hybrid drivetrain.

The confirmation follows comments made by the CEO in 2021, when he announced that the entire Lamborghini lineup would be hybridized by 2024. It was also made as the automaker revealed that the followup to its flagship supercar, the Aventador, will have a 1,001 hp (747 kW/1,015 PS) plug-in hybrid drivetrain."

Im mean, most of their line-up? They have three cars LOL

What VAG needs is a high end platform for the expensive SUV models. Basing the whole SUV lineup on the Touareg is just retarted.
