I'm not going to start bashing kids w/ wealthy families that spoil them to death w/ all kinds of gifts of great monetary value, but I thought this one would make for an honerable mention. Now this kid didn't just get any old kind of S550, but a fully loaded one, much like Nevada Jacks' w/ Sports pack in Wht/Gry. Amazing. Good for him though, hope it goes through its' life unscathed. :t-hihi:

until there are pics.. it could be BS.. and even when there are pics..it could still be his dads car.. and that makes it BS:D

It might not be BS at all, people on that show a pretty wealthy. One girl got a white Range Rover Vouge as a gift.

ohh is it a show.. well i thought it was some dude telling that he will get it for his 16th.. well in that case..
play on playa pimp..haha

I hate this show. Not because they're rich - couldn't care less about that. It's more their attitude towards the whole thing; all of 'em are so stuck-up and so materialistic and want to be 'cool', they're spending hundreds of thousands of dollars of their parent's money towards a party which will last a couple of hours.

Then again, the attitude of the parents is pretty poor as well, letting them have a party like this. Personally, if I was a parent and my kid wanted a party 'just to look cool', I'd give them a right old slap on the back of the head. :eusa_danc

I hate that show all those kids get all those nice mercs audi's and range rovers and theyre like I deserve it, and in each show they all shed some tears when they dont get what they want.

Id love for theyre riches to be taken away from them for a month and given a job so they can appreciate what theyre recieving.

I hate that show as well. I stopped watching that show after seeing one of the kids yelling "I'm in a $400,000 car" at people from his father's Maybach. Some of them don't even have a driver's license yet. And those parents spending $200k-$300K on 16-year-old's Birthday party is pathetic.

Your statements are amazing me. Not that I'm understanding your comments as a way of beeing envious, but I thought its not a problem in the States to show its richness, no matter how old someone is.

i dont like the show atALLLL ... some lil chick got a range rover for her 16th BD ... and the way they act , like as if they own the world . F#@K it

Its not that its how unapprecitable, snobby and stuck up they are. For instance in one show the girl was upset because she ONLY got ONE car for her birthday, so she bitched at her dad to get her another one which he did. Thats just rediculous.

This attitude is what pisses me off, if they had some modesty and respect I wouldnt have a problem with them.

Like someone said above, they are just trying to be cool and their way of achieving that is though wealth.

These girls are the ones who go to college, party and binge drink on their parents money and they end up gettin raped by the lacrosse team, because they dont know any better.

Some of the girl on that show take the word brat to a whole new level. One wanted to be slid down a helicopter infront of the club where her party was going to be held. Not even Michael Jacksson or Donald Trump arrives to a party like that. :t-crazy2:

Well, getting a Range Rover for your 16th birthday is a little extreme but it's not that amazing... This girl from my city got a 360 Spyder for her 17th birthday. Check it out (file attached). Also I know a lot of guys who've gotten Supercharged Ranges, nice Benzes, a 4.8is, etc. for their birthdays. IMO it's definitely not the best way to educate your children but to each his own...

When I was in high school I knew my fair share of kids who lived up on the hill. Sure, they were driving BMWs by their Junior year, but lots of them also couldn't cope with the stain of affluence and couldn't tell their ass from their elbow. In my eyes, it's neither here nor there because there was a inverted curve of wealthy household to screwup kid factor.

If you're given a Ferrari for your 18th birthday it's pretty neat, but then again, you set your standards relative to inaccessibility. If you're the kind of wealthy guy who feels like showering his offspring with conspicuously ridiculous gifts then so be it.

yes i also have many people at my school getting treated like this. A girl at my school has just recieved a black porsche 997 c4s for her 16th birthday!!! its awsome but i rarley see her driving it i usually see her driving a range rover so either she got two cars or she just takes out her parents cars. But yea i see no point of getting all of this for free from your parents for your first car because you will probably crash it pretty fast.

Well, you know what I say...

To truely appreciate a great car you must first appreciate being stuck with a complete POS. I think you rob your kids of something if you allow them to start at the top.

If I had kids right now they'd be getting Chevy Aleros as gifts.

I agree, if you get them a ferrari, then anyother car won't be good enough for them, they have peaked in car ownership at 16, and so later on in their life, what do they have to look forward to!

is the girl in the pic chircho posted holding a glass/drink?

oh my dear god, i don't let people take bottles/cups/etc with them in my car...
